I'm so close to my mom, I just don't know how I'll go on without her...my mom & dad are performing Hajj this year 1431H.

I'm back

We just returned from my mom home town in Perak. Good times were had. I am not going to talk to much about it... happy holidays!

So as you can imagine, fasting Ramadan isn't so hard.

Every time I've come to my blog to update, I get overwhelmed and just close it back up, so I'm just gonna move forward from here, and try to do better at keeping it updated. I don't even know if anybody is even reading this anymore...

I was raised mostly by my mother, but I have always had a close relationship with my father as well. My dad is a kind, funny, charismatic man and I think I definitely got my humor from him…

Talk to my Dad just now, he said he was not feeling well the past few days...scared me that my Dad who has always been strong is not well.

Grocery shopping with my Mom

I was grocery shopping with my mom. For me this is the most time consuming part of doing grocery shopping.

30 sections of the Quran

Alhamdulillah - I have finished the 30 sections of the Quran when i was 9 years old. (Thanks mama!)

My mom told me that;

"Puasa is just a waste to do if you don't perform prayers/Solat."
and "Your Zakat is nothing if you don't do fasting in Ramadhan."

In conclusion,

Solat (Israk Mikraj) - Puasa (Ramadhan) - Zakat (Ramadhan) - Haji (Zulhijjah)

It's arranged perfectly in month

Consequently, I just realize why Solat comes first, followed by Puasa, Zakat and Haji.

First, the testimony of faith (syahadah), second is prayers (Solat), third is fasting (Puasa), zakat and haji.

homework

Restrict yourself to getting the job done, so that your parents don't have to restrict you from activities you enjoy. It's a win-win situation. You show maturity by doing what you know needs to be done. Then, your parents are happy to see your responsible actions when you finish homework without a fuss. Everyone in the family feels less stress.

I should learn to relax

We worry also have no use. When we have the time better make use of it.

Greet all the teachers that come in your class. Never beat up a student when he is troubling you; the teacher usually catches you, instead of the one who started it.

Judgement

I really love my parents.. and I want to do a lot for them. I owe a lot to them =( but I always fall short of being nice to them.. I just slip up. They are so caring.. They have so many rights upon me. ALLAH will ask me about them on the day of judgement.

My Dad bought a piano for me

Well, i love my dad for sure. He's always been there for me....
Shortly after, my parents decided to hire a private piano teacher for me. It was about the time I started taking piano lessons... but now no more time, busy!

very very very very very much, although I don't really show it. I just want them to know that no matter how rebellious and stubborn I am, they're very important to me.. More than anyone else..

what is life without a vision, and a dream?

it might sound silly, to keep dreaming and living out the desires in your heart, sometimes against logic, against reason, but i think it is all worth it eventually.

I want to be an engineer and police officer?
We ask ourselves if we are who we wanted to be, or if we will be who we want to be. I do hope that we can all be what we'd like, however sometimes we're not. As a kid i have always wanted to be a police officer, but after growing up.... i don't think so.
They obviously both have there pros and cons, but can i do both?hahaha
